Indian Air Force showed valor in Chandigarh on Air Force Day

For the first time, leaving the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad, the Air Force will do an air show at Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh and the second coincidence is that the indigenously built Light Combat Helicopter Prachanda will attend the air show for the first time. Three Prachanda will take part in the air show and will make them feel their power.

On Air Force Day, along with Chandigarh, on Saturday, the whole world will see the valor of the Indian Air Force. Apart from President Draupadi Murmu and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, about 35,000 people from Chandigarh and adjoining states will reach Sukhna Lake and see the feats of other aircraft with the power of the state-of-the-art fighter aircraft Rafale and the speed of Tejas in the air show.

Tight security arrangements have been made in view of the arrival of the President and the Defense Minister. The area around Sukhna Lake and the UT Secretariat located in Sector-9 has been sealed a day earlier. The road leading to the Housing Board office in Sector-9 has been closed. The front parking has also been vacated and police have been deployed there.

The Chief of the Air Staff will also launch the new pattern of combat uniform of the Air Force on this occasion. More than 80 aircraft will take part in the air show on Sukhna Lake which will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. In this, fighter aircraft including Rafale, Chinook, Tejas, Jaguar, MiG-29 and Mirage-2000 will thrill and enthuse the people with their acrobatics.
