It takes a strong producer to stand by his team and producer Anand Pandit has proven that once again. The producer who is known for being meticulous about his projects is as passionate about the team that works with them. Ever since Rhea Chakraborty’s picture and the name went missing from the motion poster of Chehre, the makers have remained mum about her part in the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer. The promotional campaigns that followed also did not mention Chakraborty. Producer Anand Pandit had said earlier, “We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say.”

As the trailer of his upcoming release Chehre was launched, speculation over whether Rhea Chakraborty would feature in the film after her recent controversy was put to rest when she was seen in the trailer. Producer Anand Pandit who had kept silent and indicated time and again that he would speak at the right time finally broke his silence, “There was never any question of not having Rhea in the film. She was, is and will always be an integral part of Chehre. I don’t believe in getting swayed so easily.”

Chehre is a mystery thriller directed by Rumy Jafry, and is all set to get a theatrical release on April 9, 2021. The film unites Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi for the first time. Besides Amitabh and Emraan, the film also features Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, and Siddhanth Kapoor.
