    Haryana dominates CWG Games, players have won 21 medals including 7 gold so far

    Haryana continues to dominate in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in England. The wrestlers here are continuously capturing their medals. During this, so far 21 medals including 7 gold have come to Haryana’s bag. In the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the players of Haryana came after winning 22 medals. At the same time, it seems that this time the previous record will be broken.

    Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is also very happy with the excellent performance of the players of Haryana in the Commonwealth Games. Infinite congratulations and best wishes to my strong wrestler Bajrang Punia on winning the gold medal and female wrestler Anshu Malik on winning the silver medal.

    In whichever category of wrestling the Indian wrestler landed, he won the medal in the same. Bajrang Poonia won gold in 65 kg, Sakshi Malik in 62 kg and Deepak Poonia in 86 kg weight category. While Anshu Malik put the silver medal in the country’s bag in 57 kg. Divya Kakran won the bronze medal in 68kg and Mohit Grewal in 125kg.
