A new building will be constructed for the Haryana Legislative Assembly. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar himself has given this information. He has tweeted and said that while fulfilling our demand for a separate building for the Haryana Legislative Assembly, today Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accepted. He said that Amit Shah has announced to give additional land for the assembly in Chandigarh. In such a situation, on behalf of all the people of Haryana, I thank the Home Minister from the heart.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta said in a press conference that in the meeting of the North Zone Council in Jaipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a new gift to Haryana. He said that we were trying for a year for the new Vidhan Bhavan of Haryana. CM Manohar Lal Khattar placed this matter before him in the meeting and the Home Minister approved the formation of a new assembly of Haryana in Chandigarh.
He said that after seeing all the assembly buildings, he will make a good Vidhan Bhavan. There will be de limitation in 2026. In this, at least 25 seats will increase. The present building is a heritage building. We will consider what can be made to make good use of it. At the same time, our 20 rooms are still occupied with Punjab, which we should get. The decision was taken in 1966.
