The infection of corona (COVID-19) in Rajasthan continues to increase. More than 700 new cases (New Cases) were reported on Thursday. The pace of vaccination is also continuously increasing. More than 50 lakh people have been vaccinated across the country so far. More than 11.9 crore people will be vaccinated in Rajasthan from April 1.
715 new cases of corona on Thursday have blown the Gehlot government’s sleep. Of these, 127 cases have been reported in Jodhpur. There are 80 in Kota, 77 in Jaipur, 54 in Ajmer, 14 in Alwar, 10 in Banswara, 18 in Baran, 22 in Bhilwara, 14 in Chittorgarh, 55 in Dungarpur, 13 in Nagaur, 14 in Pratapgarh, 22 in Rajsamand, 12 in Sikar, 49 in Sirohi and 67 in Udaipur.
Vaccination of over 50 lakh in 9 days
Now, the number of active patients in the state has gone up to 5149. More than 50 lakh people have been vaccinated in 69 days of vaccination campaign in the state beginning January 16. According to the health department, 50 lakh 57 thousand 509 people have been given corona doses in the state till Thursday. Of these, 43 lakh 87 thousand 817 people have got the first dose and 6 lakh 69 thousand 692 people have had second doses.
Rajasthan has received a total of 60 lakh doses so far
Rajasthan is said to have received a total of 60 lakh doses so far. The third phase will begin in the state from April 1. The health department has stepped up preparations for the third phase. The third phase aims to vaccinate over 122 lakh people above the age of 45 years. Out of these, about 3 lakh patients of serious diseases have been immunized. So, the third phase, which begins on April 1, will vaccinate 119 lakh people.
