Recent developments in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Prayagraj, show growing support for designating the cow as the ‘Mother of the Nation.’ Proposed during the ‘Gau Sansad’ at Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s Magh Mela camp, the initiative suggests renaming the cow to ‘Rama,’ symbolizing ‘Rashtra’ (nation) and ‘Mata’ (mother).
Among 21 proposals unanimously passed, the symbolic renaming of cows to ‘Rama’ is noteworthy. Henceforth, cows will be addressed by this name.
Additionally, a ‘Rashtriya Rama Gau Bhakt Aayog’ is proposed to identify and register cows through DNA testing, initiating welfare protocols from the Hindu New Year.
The ‘Gau Sansad’ calls for a dedicated ‘cow ministry,’ advocating for reclassifying cows in the Constitution and urging social ostracization of beef consumers. Voters are encouraged to support candidates prioritizing cow protection.
Upon achieving ‘Mother of the Nation’ status, the first act planned by the saints is to present cow’s milk to Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.
The proposal sparks discussions, reflecting the cow’s significance in Indian culture. Stay tuned for updates.
