On Thursday night, Deepika Padukone had to make her way through a crowd that had gathered outside a restaurant in Khar. She had barely stepped out of the Union Park hotspot after tucking into its Latin American and Asian cuisine when she was mobbed. In the chaos that ensued, someone snatched her handbag, which was immediately retrieved. Though a tad flustered, she kept her cool as she got into her car.

What we couldn’t help but notice is that the actor has been stepping out without a mask. Earlier in the evening, she was spotted in the same outfit at a photo studio in Bandra. She was not wearing a mask even though her team members followed the guidelines.

Have a look at the video:

A user commented- “Why people pulling her bag? This is scary.” [SIC]. Another one wrote- “What sort of security is this, She only went from the door to the car n people were throwing them selves on her n pulling her bag very poor security.” [SIC]

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s 83. The film is based on World Cup won by India back in 1983. Later, she also has Shakun Batra’s yet-untitled film, Pathan and Mahabharata where she’ll essay the role of Draupadi, a saga with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. The remake of The Intern that was announced with Rishi Kapoor is also likely to be revived with another actor. Ther makers are yet to make an official confirmation about the same.

Apart from these, Deepika will also be sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action drama sees Dippy and Duggu together for the first time. It marks the third collaboration between Roshan and Anand after Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019).
