Districts of South Haryana connected with Chandigarh

Trans Haryana Green Field Scheme Bharatmala Yojna

Minister of State for Sports Sandeep Singh informed that the construction work of Six Lane Expressway 152D from Ganghedi to Narnaul has been completed. With this, the districts of South Haryana have been connected with Chandigarh. From Ismailabad-Pehowa to Narnaul, this gift of about nine thousand crore rupees is given by the Central Government to Haryana.

He said that on July 30 and 31, the operation of vehicles on this highway would be done on trial basis. Vehicular traffic will start on it from August 1. With the construction of this highway under the Trans Haryana Green Field Scheme Bharatmala Yojna, the distance of travel from Chandigarh in South Haryana will be reduced.

People of Rewari, Mahendragarh, and Narnaul will now take half the time to reach Chandigarh. In keeping with the visionary vision of Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, to make such a newly constructed highway safe, CCTV cameras have been installed at every one kilometre so that any accident can be reported immediately.
