Goa Police have arrested the owner of Curlies Club and a drug paddler in connection with the death of BJP leader and Tik Tok star Sonali Phogat from Hisar in Haryana. So far, 4 arrests have been made in this case including Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder. Police also recovered drugs from the bathroom of Curlies Club. This has been confirmed by Goa’s IG Omveer Bishnoi. The court has sent Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir Sangwan to 10-day police custody.
Meanwhile, Goa Congress has also become an attacker on the police and BJP in the whole matter. Congress’ Goa unit leader Michael Lobo has alleged that the police are trying to cover up the Sonali Phogat murder case, so there should be a CBI inquiry into the matter.
Sonali’s family had alleged that Sudhir had threatened to spoil her career if Sonali told this to anyone. How much truth is there in this complaint? Goa Police will go to Haryana to investigate this. Police can also go to Sonali’s house in Hisar.
According to Goa DGP Jaspal Singh, Sudhir and Sukhwinder have confessed that they forcefully drugged Sonali on the night of 22 August. They were given chemicals by mixing them in liquid. When Sonali’s health deteriorated due to drug overdose, both took her to the washroom. Both sat with Sonali in the washroom for two hours.
