So far, licenses of 21 builders and developers have been canceled in Haryana, while the process of action is going on against 13 builders. Haryana Agro Industries Corporation chairman has put a question regarding the arbitrariness of the web in the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha, in response to which information was given by Chief Minister Manohar Lal that the government is ignoring the interests of the flat holders and complying with the rules. Action will be taken against the developers who do not.
It is said that many builders do not give flats to the poor under Pandit Deendayal Awas Yojana, while they get all the facilities from the government. Such builders and developers are being identified. The state government is also considering that if the benefit is not being given to the real poor in this scheme and only builders or developers are getting benefited, then this scheme should be closed.
