Earlier, at the sub-divisional level, the SDM used to hoist the tricolor and only honorable people were invited to the programs. This time the government has changed this tradition. Haryana Police is on alert due to the threats received by MLAs in the past and incidents of RDX being found in Ambala on August 4. Henchmen of terrorist organizations are also on the radar of the Special Task Force.
