Jennifer Lawrence Fires Back at Liam Hemsworth’s Disgust Claim Over Hunger Games Kiss

Jennifer Lawrence recently responded to Liam Hemsworth’s past criticism of their on-screen kiss in The Hunger Games. Liam had labeled it “disgusting,” sparking controversy around Jennifer’s image. Despite their enduring friendship, Jennifer candidly addressed the issue in an Access interview.

Setting the record straight, the Oscar-winning actress revealed, “I never said, ‘Hey Liam, I just ate tuna and garlic on purpose.’ I didn’t change how I ate for the kissing; it’s different than doing something on purpose. Is it worse?!” Jennifer defended herself, playfully teasing Liam about keeping her breath fresh while kissing stars like Christian Bale or Bradley Cooper. Liam humorously responded, calling it one of the most awful things he heard her say.

Amid rumors of a romantic involvement, Jennifer and Liam’s close friendship never progressed beyond that. Jennifer, admitting to an off-screen kiss, clarified their relationship. Liam, previously linked to Miley Cyrus from 2010 to 2018, shares a strong camaraderie with Jennifer.

Hunger Games franchise, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson, recently saw a prequel release titled “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes,” based on Suzanne Collins’ novels.

On the professional front, Jennifer Lawrence’s latest appearance was in the Netflix adult comedy “No Hard Feelings.”
