Exactly a month after she welcomed her second son, work beckons new mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor will shoot an episode for Discovery Plus’s upcoming celebrity cooking show, Star vs Food, today. The series will see actors and sports personalities putting their culinary skills to the test as they whip up meals for their loved ones under the supervision of a master chef.
A source from the team reveals that the shoot, which was in discussion over the past few weeks, was finally locked on Saturday night. “Kareena, who is a self-confessed foodie, was one of the first choices for the show. The actor was excited by the concept and gave her nod to the series. Given the surge in COVID-19 cases in the city, it was unanimously decided that the filming will take place at a location in Bandra, which is only a short distance from her residence. The star and the director have hand-picked a slim crew for the Monday shoot. Every member will undergo the mandatory test well before the camera rolls,” says the source.
