Haryana Congress’s big leader Kuldeep Bishnoi is ready to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. After resigning from the post of MLA on Wednesday, he will join the BJP on Friday. However, this is not the first time that he has carried out a political rebellion. However, experts say that Bishnoi is struggling to dominate the state like his father Bhajan Lal. Here, BJP is also seen preparing a plan for Rajasthan with his entry.
In the politics of Haryana, the politics of three Lal i.e. Bhajan Lal, Bansi Lal and Devi Lal have been in discussion. The special thing is that all these three have caught the hand of the BJP at some point or the other, but their heirs stayed away from this step. At present, Devi Lal’s son Ranjit Singh is a minister in the Haryana government as an independent and Dushyant Chautala is the deputy chief minister as a JJP leader.
In the year 1998, when Bhajan Lal left Adampur’s seat to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Karnal, Bishnoi started the innings by winning the by-election here. In 2004, he defeated Surendra Singh, son of former CM Bansi Lal and then CM Om Prakash Chautala in the Bhiwani Lok Sabha elections.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, HJC, which had come out as a partner of the BJP, lost both Hisar and Sirsa seats. Here, the INLD candidate faced defeat at the hands of Dushyant Chautala. Although he finally merged with Congress in 2016, his son Bhavya Bishnoi was defeated in the Hisar Lok Sabha in 2019. Whereas, in the 2019 elections, Kuldeep was successful in saving the Adampur seat.
