Haryana Government has decided the format of the nomination fee afresh for the post of Panch to Zilla Parishad for Panchayati Raj elections. On August 17, the Development and Panchayat Department issued its notification. Objections and suggestions have been sought till August 27. If any objection is raised, the draft will be finalized after redressal.
750 for general category Panchayat Samiti members and women, SC-BC candidates will have to deposit Rs 375 as an enrollment fee. The enrollment fee for the general category Zilla Parishad candidates will be Rs 1,000 and for female, SC-BC candidates the fee will be Rs 500. The department has issued this notification after the approval of the Governor. The final notification will be issued only after removing the objections to the new fee.
The government has already issued an order to the State Election Commission to conduct Panchayat elections. Now on the issuance of this notification, objections will come till August 27 and after that they will be removed. In such a situation, the announcement of the election is possible only in the month of September.
