Choreographer-director Vijay Ganguly and television actor sister Rupali Ganguly have revived their production banner, which is named after their late filmmaker father Anil Ganguly. Their first music video, Shola, features Ludo (2020) and Mismatched (2020) actor Rohit Saraf and singer Akasa Singh. The track, which dropped on Wednesday, is composed by Singh and upcoming musician Charan.
“My dad directed films like Kora Kagaz [1974], Tapasya [1975] and Saaheb [1985]. We are keen to keep his legacy alive,” says Vijay. It’s Saraf’s first music video. “The song will make you sing and dance,” says the actor.

Akasa has delivered back-to-back hit songs such as Naiyyo, Naagin, Aithey Aa and Dil Na Jaaneya and the young actor Rohit is renowned for his performances in Ludo, Mismatched and The Sky Is Pink. Sung, written and composed by Akasa and Charan, the vibrant song is all about a spirited girl, wedding vibes and the chemistry of the reel pair.
