Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was banned in Kuwait and Oman, and Qatar also put the film on hold

The film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ made about the courageous king Prithviraj Chauhan is in discussions these days. To promote this film, leaders and celebrities like Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had reached its special screening. However, it seems that the outside country is not happy with this historical film by Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar.

Actually, the film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is based on the story of Prithviraj Chauhan and the merciless invader Muhammad. In the film, Prithviraj will protect the country from Muhammad. According to the latest report of ‘Bollywood Hungama’, this film has been banned from Kuwait and Oman. Along with this, Qatar has also put its release on hold.

A senior trade source working in overseas territories confirmed this to the portal and said, “People should watch this film, which is based on history and is authentic from an unbiased point of view. However, Indians living in these countries (Oman, Kuwait and Qatar) will not be able to watch this film and it is really unfortunate. This type of film comes once a year, which should be enjoyed and celebrated by watching it. People are trying to deny Indians at this time. The better feeling should prevail.”

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ will be released in theaters on June 3, 2022 and Manushi Chillar will be seen opposite Akshay in this film. Manushi has been the ‘Miss World’ of 2017 and is going to debut in Bollywood with this film.
