Punjabi University has canceled the program amid the ruckus over Satinder Sartaj’s show. On October 8, Satinder Sartaj was to perform at the university, but now this program will not happen. There was a lot of controversy about this program. From students to senior professor Pushpinder Singh Gill of the university had also raised objections.
Professor Gill alleged that this could spoil the academic environment. After this, the Chancellor of the University wrote a letter to the Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit. On Friday, Punjabi University announced the cancellation of the show.
