Suresh Raina replaces batting with a bowl over Maggi

Maggi has launched a campaign titled ‘Match.Maggi.Masala’, to celebrate the relationship between cricket and Maggi. Conceptualised by McCann Erikson India, the films feature cricketer Suresh Raina, who showcases his Maggi moments associated with the sport.

The first film features Raina sitting on a couch with his friends and eating Maggi, while watching a cricket match. When Raina’s friend teases him asking if he’s missing batting on ground, he shows him his ball-shaped bowl of Maggi, and tells him that there’s a different thrill to bowling too.

The second film features Raina and friends on the same couch. Disappointed by the match, his friend exclaims how the cricketer should have pulled. Calming her down, Raina pulls a noodle into his mouth and they all laugh.

Rajat Jain, head – foods business, Nestle India, said, “Maggi has been a perfect partner for cricket, and we want to celebrate that in all its glory. The campaign is an ode to the exciting moments brought alive by Maggi when it comes to cricket. We are thrilled to have onboarded Suresh Raina for the Match.Maggi.Masala campaign. We are confident that this campaign will bring alive the lip smacking Maggi masala moments to India’s cricket season.”
