Travel Advisory Between Chandigarh and Delhi Amid Farmer Protest

As the call for the march to Delhi by farmer organizations disrupts normal traffic flow, the Haryana Police has issued a travel advisory for commuters traveling between Chandigarh and Delhi.

Travelers from Chandigarh are advised to take alternate routes through Panchkula, Barwala, Dosarka, Barara, Babain, Ladwa, and Kurukshetra or via Panchkula, Barwala, Yamunanagar (NH-344), Ladwa, Indri, Karnal to reach Delhi. Similarly, those traveling from Delhi to Chandigarh should consider routes passing through Karnal, Indri, Ladwa, Yamunanagar (NH-344), Barwala, Panchkula, or Karnal, Pipli, Ladwa, Babain, Barara, Dosarka, Barwala, Panchkula.

For travelers from Hisar and Sirsa heading to Chandigarh, the recommended route includes Kathal (152-D), while those coming from Pehowa can go via Kurukshetra, Babain, Barara, Dosarka, Barwala to reach Panchkula. Travelers from Rewari, Narnaul, and Jind are advised to reach Panchkula via Kathal, Pehowa, Kurukshetra, Ladwa, Babain, Barara, and Dosarka.

In case of any emergency, commuters are urged to contact Dial-112. The Haryana Police appeals to the general public to exercise caution and utilize rail routes as a precautionary measure against the announced march towards Delhi by farmer organizations.
