Woman thrown from moving train for protesting molestation

In Fatehabad district of Haryana, protesting against the molestation of a woman was overshadowed. Manchale threw a 30-year-old woman from a moving train. The victim died after the incident. Police said the victim woman was traveling in the train with her nine-year-old son. The incident happened in front of the son. The child informed the father about the incident after reaching Tohana station. On reaching the train station, the father saw the child crying alone. Police said that the child told the father about the incident.

According to the information received later by the police, the accused has been identified as 27-year-old Sandeep. The accused has also been injured due to the jump and has gone to the hospital for treatment. The officer said that the accused would be arrested soon. The Government Railway Police has registered an FIR.


Tohana Railway Police Sub-Inspector Jagdish said that security lapses are being investigated. He said that the railway police have to keep a watch on the coach at night. The railway policeman on duty at the time of the incident will be traced.
