Haryana politics is preparing for a big change on 25th September Read Inside

In the lead-up to next year’s Lok Sabha elections, political parties across the country are gearing up for what promises to be a hotly contested battle. However, when it comes to Haryana, several political dynamics might undergo a significant shift. The stage is set for an important development in Haryana politics on September 25th.

What’s Special About September 25th?

It’s worth noting that September 25th marks the birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal. On this day, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) will organize a grand tribute rally in Kaithal to commemorate his legacy. Several prominent leaders of the INLD alliance, known as the I.N.D.I.A alliance has been invited to participate in this event.

This mega rally in Kaithal has seen invitations extended to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister and leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Tejashwi Yadav, National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, National Lok Dal leader Jayant Chaudhary, and Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Sitaram Yechury.

Additionally, Shiv Sena (Yuvabitee) chief Uddhav Thackeray, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Party (RAKAMPA) leader Sharad Pawar have also been included in the list of invitees. While the INLD is not currently a part of the I.N.D.I.A alliance, their participation in Chaudhary Devi Lal’s tribute event could potentially lead to Abhay Chautala’s INLD joining the I.N.D.I.A alliance, which would reshape the political landscape in Haryana.

Who Will Gain the Upper Hand?

The Congress party in Haryana has expressed its intention to contest the upcoming elections vigorously. However, if the INLD joins the I.N.D.I.A alliance, it’s almost certain that both the Congress and the INLD would have a significant presence in the electoral arena. Currently, Congress is actively engaging with the public in almost all districts of the state through programs and outreach campaigns.

On the other hand, the current BJP-JJP coalition government in Haryana is claiming to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections together. However, both parties are running separate election campaigns. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether they will join forces in the electoral battle. In this context, if the Congress and the INLD join forces, a change in the political dynamics of Haryana is inevitable.

The political landscape in Haryana is set for a seismic shift, and all eyes are on September 25th to see how this tribute event for Chaudhary Devi Lal unfolds and whether it will reshape the political alliances in the state.
