Abhimanyu Singh, the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, has resigned from his position, and the government has accepted his resignation. Singh previously served as the Personal Assistant (PA) to former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
After Khattar was removed from office, Singh also resigned, but his resignation was not accepted due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections at the time. Upon Nayab Saini’s appointment as the new Chief Minister, Singh was promoted from PA to OSD. Despite the promotion, he has now decided to leave his job.
Abhimanyu Singh Resigns as Haryana CM’s OSD, Eyes Kosli Assembly Seat
Potential Candidacy from Kosli Assembly Seat
There is speculation that Abhimanyu Singh might contest the Kosli Assembly seat in the Jhajjar district. During the Lok Sabha elections, he actively campaigned for the BJP candidate in Kosli and nearby areas. Kosli, which is located in Rewari district but borders Jhajjar district, has seen Singh’s increasing political engagement over the past two years.
A challenge from Rao Inderjit Singh
Running for the Kosli Assembly seat will not be an easy task for Abhimanyu Singh, as he will face a significant challenge from Rao Inderjit Singh, who holds considerable influence in the region. Winning this seat often requires Rao Inderjit’s support.
Close Association with Khattar
Abhimanyu Singh has had a long association with former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, working closely with him both in the government and within the party organization. Before joining Khattar’s team, Singh was involved in the real estate business in the Gurugram and Rewari areas.
