The decision to switch parties comes with serious allegations levelled against Congress. Kiran Choudhary, in her resignation letter to Congress, accused the party of prioritizing self-interest over the welfare of the people. She expressed her dedication to the Congress over the past four decades but lamented that the party had lost its way and she could no longer align with its values.

The move of Kiran Choudhary and Shruti Choudhary from Congress to BJP is likely to have significant ramifications in Haryana’s political landscape, especially considering Kiran Choudhary’s long-standing association with the Congress and her influential political stature in the state.
