Alia Bhatt announced the release date of her upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in a different style on her social media a few days back. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film will hit the theaters on February 25. In the film, Alia Bhatt plays the role of Gangubai Kathiawadi, a prostitute in Kamathipura, Mumbai.
The film is a story depicting the journey of his headman in a brothel and Kamathipura’s journey to become a political leader. Alia started shooting for this film in the year 2019 and after two years the shooting of the film was completed. Ajay Devgan will be seen in an important role along with Alia Bhatt in this film.
