Haryana government will soon bring film and entertainment policy, film city to be built in Pinjore; CM Manohar Lal Khattar announced

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said in Chandigarh on Friday that the Haryana government is formulating a film and entertainment policy for the convenience of filmmakers and artists. He said that about 60-70 acres of land have also been earmarked for a film city at Pinjore in the Panchkula district.

CM Khattar said that through this film city, efforts will be made to promote the culture of Haryana and Punjab in particular.

An official statement quoted him as saying that the Haryana government supports the artists and will continue to work for their cause in future also. He said that the artists would not face any kind of trouble in Haryana.

He said that an artist has a very important role in showing the right direction to society because the artist does not belong to any caste or province, he is recognized only as an artist.
