The most expensive Ravana will be burnt on Dussehra in Ambala. This effigy of Ravana, installed in the Dussehra ground of Barara, is 125 feet high. 13 lakh rupees have been spent on making it. The statue has been made by Tejinder Singh Chauhan, a 5-time Limca Book Record holder.
Green firecrackers worth 1 lakh will be used in Ravan Dahan. Due to this, there will be no pollution around. This time the effigies of Meghnath and Kumbhakarna will not be burnt.

Earlier on Dussehra, the effigy of Ravana was 220 feet. However, due to the shortening of the ground, now its height had to be reduced to 125 feet. Managers say that this decision was taken for the safety of the people coming to see Ravana Dahan.
