Along with Sawan Month, the Kanwar Yatra has also started. On the first day of Kanwar Yatra, about 4 lakh Kanwar devotees flooded Haridwar. On the second day of the Kanwar Yatra, flowers will be showered on the Kanwariyas from a helicopter. Regarding this, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj told that flowers will be showered on Kanwar pilgrims from a helicopter on Friday.
The passengers will be given a grand welcome by the government. Large hoardings have also been put up for this. With this, the police and paramilitary force personnel have taken full command for peace and security in the Kanwar fair and have deployed police force from Harki Paidi to the boundaries of the district. While paramilitary forces have been deployed at sensitive places.
Let us tell you that while taking stock of the duty point, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat while giving information said that six company paramilitary forces were sought for the Kanwar fair. At present, three companies have been received. All these have been deployed at important places. As soon as the rest of the force arrives, they will also be deployed.
