Haryana BJP MP Wants Permission for Home-Made Desi Daru, Says It Will Help Farmers

BJP Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Chaudhary Dharambir Singh has asked the government to allow the production of homemade desi daru using natural ingredients like barley, grapes, and sugarcane juice. He believes this will help stop fake liquor and increase farmers’ income.

Bringing Back Traditional Liquor (Desi Daru)

During Zero Hour in Parliament, Dharambir Singh said that earlier, liquor was made using natural ingredients and was even considered a type of medicine. He suggested that the government should allow people to make such traditional liquor again to ensure purity and quality.

How Farmers Will Benefit

Singh explained that if homemade desi liquor is legalized, it will provide farmers with a new way to earn money. Those who grow barley, sugarcane, and grapes will get better crop prices. “If we allow liquor to be made in a controlled and natural way, it can help farmers and also stop the sale of harmful fake liquor,” he said.

A Big Debate?

This idea is sure to create discussions. Some may support it because it helps farmers and brings back old traditions. Others may think promoting liquor is not a good step for public health. Now, it is up to the government to decide if this move is right or not.

What’s Next?

If the government agrees to this request, Haryana’s liquor industry could change. With proper rules, home-made desi liquor could replace harmful fake alcohol. This could be a good step for both farmers and consumers.
