In its original release, No Entry became the highest-grossing film of 2005 and a cult favourite. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, delivering a performance that left audiences in splits. Now, almost two decades later, the much-anticipated sequel is gearing up to hit the big screen.
According to exclusive reports from Pinkvilla, filming for No Entry 2 is scheduled to begin in December 2024 and wrap up by June 2025. A source from ETimes shared, “Director Anees Bazmee will start No Entry 2 with Diljit, Varun, and Arjun in double roles and ten leading ladies from December 2024. He aims to finish filming by June 2025. Zee Studios and Bayview will produce the sequel.”
The sequel promises to bring a fresh wave of comedy and entertainment, with Anees Bazmee not only directing but also writing the script. Sources close to the project revealed to Pinkvilla, “The producers have brought Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh together to lead the film. The trio is enthusiastic about the script and has approved the story.”
Anees Bazmee’s track record with comedy and the star power of the new cast have fans eagerly waiting. “No Entry 2 is a hilarious script that has everyone excited. The sequel will start filming in December 2024 and will have a major theatrical release in 2025, marking 20 years since the first part,” the source added.
As No Entry approaches its 20th anniversary, the sequel aims to honor the original while bringing a new twist with its fresh cast. The original film also featured memorable performances by Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitley, making it a true ensemble hit.
