Bollywood’s intriguing personality, Orhan Awatramani, affectionately known as Orry, has recently lifted the veil on the essence of his Rs 30 lakh event attendance fee and why he proudly identifies himself as a ‘Liver.’ Orry, who serves as the special project manager at the RIL Chairperson’s Office, has been making waves in the social circuit and recently garnered attention for his stint in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17 house.
In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Orry shared the genesis of his self-proclaimed title ‘Liver.’ The revelation came during a conversation with Shanaya Kapoor when she pointed out Orry’s knack for truly living in the moment rather than merely working. Recounting the conversation, Orry stated, “I am living, I am a liver, and that’s when this ahaa moment happened.”
Known for his affable relationship with the paparazzi, Orry admitted to occasionally inviting them to his rendezvous. Recalling a dinner with Bhumi Pednekar and her sister Samiksha, where the media surrounded them, Orry humorously admitted to orchestrating the paparazzi’s presence, asserting, “It was me.”
Addressing his Rs 20 to 30 lakh cover fee for attending events, Orry differentiated his approach from traditional celebrity appearances. Rather than a fleeting presence, Orry prides himself on staying for the entire event, engaging with attendees like an old friend, and ensuring to capture moments through photographs.
“People call me to their farmhouses and say, ‘My father, mother, and my in-laws will all put ₹5 lahks each, my wife and I will put ₹2.5 lahks, so that’s 25 lakh total, please come to our party,’” Orry revealed in a recent statement. He emphasized the unique experience he brings to events, fostering a lively atmosphere and genuine connections with attendees.
Orry remains unapologetic about occasionally calling the paparazzi, asserting that while he may orchestrate some moments, the majority are spontaneous captures. His open approach to his social presence and event attendance reflects a blend of charm, authenticity, and a zest for life that has become synonymous with the enigmatic Orry in Bollywood’s social landscape.
