The government’s proactive stance towards nurturing the film industry is evident in its comprehensive film and entertainment policy introduced in 2022. This forward-looking policy is now yielding positive outcomes, with notable artists and producers lending their expertise to various projects. Several films have already garnered acclaim for tackling pertinent issues such as female empowerment, gender equality, and social justice, thereby amplifying Haryana’s voice on the national stage.

Director General Mandeep Singh Brar emphasizes the dual objective of preserving traditional culture while fostering cinematic creativity. By spotlighting iconic landmarks like Pinjore Garden, Kalesar Forest, and Surajkund, the government is not only providing picturesque backdrops for filmmakers but also showcasing Haryana’s rich historical and natural heritage.

Furthermore, the Haryana Film Promotion Board has been instrumental in facilitating the application process for subsidies, ensuring transparency and accessibility for aspiring filmmakers. This concerted effort underscores the government’s commitment to promoting artistic expression and economic growth through the medium of cinema.

As Haryana continues to emerge as a hub for filmmaking, there is a palpable sense of momentum within the industry. With seasoned professionals mentoring budding talent and a supportive policy framework in place, the trajectory of Haryana’s film industry appears poised for sustained growth and recognition on a national scale.
