The name of the residence of the Chief Minister of Haryana will now be Sant Kabir Kutir. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made this announcement at a function organized in Rohtak on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti. He said that the name of his official residence would be changed even before he went to Chandigarh.
On Sunday, Sant Kabir Das Jayanti celebrations were celebrated at the state level in Rohtak, where CM Manohar Lal arrived as the chief guest. During this, he also made many announcements. The Chief Minister announced to change the name of his official residence in Chandigarh. At the same time, he also said that the Haryana government will bear the cost of rail tickets for the people of the state going to the birthplace of Saint Kabir.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that in the promotion of scheduled caste government employees, a provision of the reservation will be made like the Centre. In all the educational institutions and Dharamshala belonging to Scheduled Castes and backward communities in the state, a library will be built by the Education Department if a room is provided in it. Apart from this, any one educational institution in the state will be named after Sant Kabir. Many ministers and MPs of the state government also participated in this program.
