Situations like farmer protest in Haryana, Tractors reached BJP office to surround

Farmers protested outside BJP’s state headquarters in Haryana’s Rohtak on Friday. It was led by the peasant leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni. Apart from Bhartiya Kisan Union, Khap Panchayats have also decided to oppose this new recruitment system.

A large number of youths and students packed in tractors and jeeps reached the BJP office and demonstrated by gheraoing it. Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni continued to fast throughout the day and opposed the Agneepath scheme. Apart from them, the Khap Panchayats have also decided to enter this fight.

The way the BJP office has been gheraoed in the state, it has once again reminded us of the days of the farmers’ movement. Then there was strong opposition from BJP leaders. People were protesting by gheraoing him. At many places, there was also a situation of clashes between the supporters of BJP and the farmer agitators.

Similarly, on Friday too, a large number of people arrived in tractors and jeeps and raised slogans against the BJP. On this occasion, Chadhuni said that neither the country is safe through Agneepath scheme nor it is in the interest of youth. It should be withdrawn immediately.
