Superstar Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the highly anticipated song “Zinda Banda” from his upcoming film “Jawan” on Monday, which features a heartfelt couplet by renowned Urdu poet Wasim Barelvi in its Hindi version. The song, written by Anirudh Ravichander, has been released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with Irshad Kamil, Vivek, and Chandrabose penning the lyrics for each respective language.
Shah Rukh took to Twitter to share the song in all three languages, introducing “#ZindaBanda!” He expressed gratitude to Wasim Barelvi for allowing them to use his beautiful couplet with a slight modification. In a statement, Shah Rukh credited Irshad Kamil for writing the song and Anirudh for composing its music.
The vibrant song features Shah Rukh dancing alongside Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Lehar Khan under the choreography of Shobi, bringing joy to the audience. Anirudh, known for his hit tracks like “Vaathi Coming” and “Arabic Kuthu,” shared that “Zinda Banda” was inspired by Shah Rukh’s special place in his heart and serves as a tribute to the actor’s popularity.
