International Boxer Vijendra said – trying to make Moosewala’s song Punjab V/s Haryana

Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s new song has revived the controversy of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL). A section on social media is giving the colour of Punjab Vs Haryana to this song, which was released 26 days after the murder of Sidhu Musewala. This section says that this song of Moosewala is against the sentiments of the people of Haryana.

According to this section running the campaign on social media, Moosewala has spoken of not giving a drop of water to Haryana in his song and in a way has threatened that if an attempt is made to build the SYL canal, then someone like Balwinder Jatana. Will come

It is worth mentioning that there was a plan to transport Bhakra dam water to several districts of southern Haryana through the SYL canal, but Balwinder Jatana of Ropar (Punjab) killed two officials who built the canal. After that, the officials were so scared that the work of the canal itself stopped. After that, the police killed Balwinder Jatana in an encounter. The Syl canal has not been built to date and the leaders of both the states have been redeeming the issue of SYL in the elections.

The theme of Sidhu Moosewala’s new song is that till the issues of Punjab are not resolved, not a drop of water will be given. At the beginning of the song, the statement of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Haryana in-charge Sushil Gupta is heard in the background. In this, Sushil Gupta is saying that our government has come in Punjab and in 2024, the party government will be formed in Haryana too. By the year 2025, water will come to every farm in Haryana.

In the midst of this entire controversy, Haryana’s Congress leader and international boxer Vijender Sidhu have come forward in favour of Musewala. Vijender responded to those trying to make the song Punjab Vs Haryana by tweeting about 17 lines in Hindi on the morning of June 24. Vijender wrote that the song is not against Haryana but talks about ‘united Punjab’. Vijender argues that the word ‘Topiwal’ used in the song is for politicians and not for the people of Haryana.

Vijendra wrote in the tweet that there is confusion among people regarding the line ‘Ona chir pani chaddo, tupka nahi dede’ from the song of Moosewala, who has been told not to give water tupka? to Haryana? So to understand the meaning of this line ‘Sanu Sadda Pichokar, Atai Sada Lana De Deo, Chandigarh, Himachal at Haryana De Deo’ needs to be understood carefully.

According to Vijender, Sidhu Moosewala is talking about uniting the family at the very beginning of his song. In the very next line, Musewala has used the English word ‘sovereignity’. That is, the Moosewala is saying that unite our family and give sovereignty. We will solve our issues ourselves.

Vijendra further wrote in his tweet that there is one more line of this song, ‘Kyun Paggan Naal Khahanda Firda Topi Waleya’. According to Vijendra, this line also needs to be understood. The pug should not be seen only in relation to the Sikh. In Haryana-Rajasthan also, turban is considered very important. Topiwalas here mean leaders who make people fight among themselves.

Vijender wrote a ‘note’ at the end of his tweet and wrote that the same people are jealous in this song who saw terrorism in the farmers of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Western UP.
