Khelo India Youth Games – 2021 torch reached in Panipat, enthusiasm among players

The torch of Khelo India Youth Games-2021 reached the local Shivaji Stadium on Wednesday at 5 pm. Mashal Yatra was taken out to encourage the players. From the players to the residents of the city, enthusiasm was seen regarding the torch of the Khelo India Youth Games-2021.

As soon as the torch reached the city, there was a competition of selfie takers. Flowers were showered. The youth raised the slogans of ‘Khelega Haryana, Jeetega Haryana’. Teams from different schools of Panipat gave their presentation on this occasion. District Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan and MP Sanjay Bhatia along with administrative officials, sportspersons and dignitaries felicitated the torch on arrival at Shivaji Stadium.

The MP said that the players of Haryana are playing in the world. Our players are registering victories at state, national and international level. District Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan said that the countdown for the Khelo India Youth Games – 2021, which will start from June 4 in Panchkula, has started under the Amrit Mahotsav series of independence. Haryana has got the hosting of Khelo India Youth Games.

Organizing sports events gives youth an opportunity to discover their talents. On this occasion SDM Bijendra Dhull, CEO Zilla Parishad Vivek Chaudhary, Additional CEO Zilla Parishad Ravindra Malik, CTM Rajesh Soni, District Sports and Youth Program Officer Pradeep Paliwal, District Education Officer Kuldeep Singh Malik and other administrative officers of the district were present.
