The Surya Grahan fair to be held on October 25 in the district is going to write history. This time 5 lakh devotees from across the country are expected to attend the fair. In view of such a large number, the Haryana government has also become alert.
Instructions have been issued to deploy 6500 policemen for the safety of the pilgrims. In order not to lapse in security, the entire fair complex has been divided into 20 zones. CM Manohar has instructed CS Sanjeev Kaushal to make elaborate arrangements for the fair.
Special buses will be run for the Surya Grahan fair in Kurukshetra so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience in reaching the fair. The District Administration, KDB, and Tourism Department have been given the responsibility for the successful organization of the fair.
