During a recent interaction with journalists, Ajay Chautala, the national president of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), expressed his dissatisfaction with certain party members, specifically targeting Devender Babli. Chautala accused Babli of not actively contributing to the party’s efforts during the ongoing election season.

Chautala remarked that during elections, some opportunistic individuals switch parties, citing the example of former leader Nishan Singh, who allegedly hinted at joining the Congress after a seat became vacant in Tohana. However, Singh clarified later that he was born in Congress and intended to stay there, receiving respect from the JJP.

Referring to Devender Babli, Chautala emphasized that simply being a member of the party was not enough if one did not actively support its agenda during crucial election times. He criticized Babli for distancing himself from party activities, labelling such behaviour as burdensome for the party. Chautala urged Babli and other party members to actively participate and contribute to the party’s efforts during this crucial election period.

Chautala warned that any member found supporting candidates from other parties, akin to Jogiram Sihaag’s actions, would face consequences within the JJP.
