Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave a special gift to Gurugram

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday inaugurated several projects in Gurugram and gave special gifts to the district. These gifts will improve the infrastructure of the district.

CM Khattar today inaugurated Underpass and Flyover near HUDA City Center Metro Station and Foot Over Bridge at Signature Tower and IFFCO Chowk intersections. The Chief Minister informed that all these projects have been made by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority.

A grand sports complex will be built in Wazirabad, which will be named after former Union Minister and former Chief Minister Late Rao Birender Singh. The outline of the project is being prepared and its construction work will be started soon. The Chief Minister said that this sports complex in Wazirabad would be built on about 11 acres of land and would cost about ₹ 212 crores. He said that in this grand sports complex, arrangements would also be made for a multipurpose hall and indoor games. Apart from this, 18 sports faculty will be made available here.

Minister of State (Planning) Rao Inderjit Singh had recently clashed with Khattar over the delay in the stadium during a function. The stadium is to be named after his father and second Chief Minister of Haryana, Rao Birender Singh.
