Geeta Bhukkal, former Haryana Education Minister and Congress MLA from Jhajjar, has once again criticized Om Prakash Dhankar, the state BJP president. Her response came after Dhankar blamed the lack of Congress organization on former Chief Minister Hooda.

Geeta Bhukkal’s Response:

Bhukkal advised Dhankar to first decide where he’s contesting elections instead of concerning himself with her and her party. She stressed that he should focus on the BJP’s performance in states they currently govern, as the public has decisively voted them out.

She suggested Dhankar should stop worrying about her and the Congress and concentrate on the BJP’s performance in states where they hold power. Bhukkal noted the Congress’s resurgence in states like Rajasthan, while effectively challenging the BJP in power.

Political Disputes in Non-BJP States:

Bhukkal also commented on political conflicts between Governors and Chief Ministers in non-BJP states like Punjab and Delhi. She stated these disputes mostly occur in states where the BJP isn’t in power, indicating a lack of faith in democracy in such situations.

In summary, Geeta Bhukkal’s response to Om Prakash Dhankar’s remarks highlights ongoing political dynamics and tensions in Haryana and the broader political landscape in non-BJP-governed states. She stresses the importance of parties focusing on their own performance and respecting democratic principles in all states.
