Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu‘s eagerly awaited concert in Gurugram this Saturday has been abruptly canceled due to the region’s hazardous air pollution. Initially set for Sector 65, the event fell victim to the worsening air quality, leaving residents in search of relief.
In a social media announcement, Sandhu expressed regret, citing fan safety as the top priority. Despite organizers’ preparations, the decision to cancel came just two days before the scheduled concert.
Gurugram, part of the pollution-stricken NCR, recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 357 on Thursday. Sandhu assured fans of a new concert date soon, highlighting the cancellation’s broader impact on cultural events amidst the ongoing pollution crisis.
