State head leader of Roadways Employees Union, Jaiveer Ghanghas told that 10 unions are involved in the common morcha. After 12 o’clock on March 27, the employees will sit at the depot gate by locking them. It is to be known that there are 13 union of roadways employees in Haryana, out of which three unions will not participate in this strike.
Demand not met
According to union leader Ghanghas, there are about 2600 roadways buses in Haryana and everyone’s wheel will be jammed. It will be the endeavour of all our unions that no bus of the roadways should come out of the depot gate. As of now, there has been no talk with the government. He further said that even if the government wants to talk, even then it will not be done. To date many rounds of talks were held, agreements were made, but none of the demands was fulfilled.
General Managers wrote a letter to the SP
According to the information received, the Transport Department has imposed the duty of roadways general managers of all the districts, so that there is no problem in the operation of roadways buses. For this, the General Managers of Roadways have also written a letter to the DC and SP, demanding deployment of police in the depot premises. Also, the route on which the buses are to be sent, the location of those routes has been taken by the administration from the roadways officials.
