In Haryana, along with the day, the evening has started heating up. Talking about the day temperature, Sonipat was the hottest in the state on Sunday with a temperature of 42.9 degrees. On the other hand, Hisar recorded a maximum temperature of 38.8 °C at 7.27 pm. Apart from Sonipat, the mercury remained above 42 degrees in Faridabad, Gurugram and Hisar on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning in the remaining 16 districts except for the districts of the northern region of the state till April 7. The worst conditions in terms of heat are the residents of Faridabad, Hisar, Mahendragarh and Sirsa. Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Karnal and Kaithal will be spared from the heat wave. The heatwave may also provide some relief in Sonipat, Panipat, Fatehabad and Jind.
In the temperature bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, Chandigarh late on Sunday evening, the blueprint (forecast) of the temperature till April 7 has been drawn, in which the people of the state are not getting relief from the sweat-drenching heat. On Sunday, an increase of 0.6 degrees has been reported in the maximum temperature compared to the day before.
