Lady Gaga hints at quitting spotlight after 15 years

Singer-actress Lady Gaga has indicated that she may disappear from the spotlight.

She explained that she prefers life away from the red carpet at home, Mirror.co.uk reports.

The 36-year-old pop sensation exploded onto the world stage back in 2008 with the release of her lead single, “Just Dance.”

After that, Lady Gaga drew attention on red carpets around the world as she dressed in bizarre outfits – from dresses made of Kermit – the frog dolls to clothes made of meat.

All the while, she continued to release pop tunes that sold millions of copies and entered the acting world by snagging starring roles in movies and TV shows including “A Star Is Born” and “House of Gucci.”

Mirror.co.uk further stated that Lady Gaga said she prefers a slower pace of life these days – and wishes she knew she didn’t have to constantly jump for attention like she did in her younger days.

Gaga told ‘Wallpaper’ magazine: “I want to live more of a life of solitude. It’s really nice to just have time to be alone, and expand and know that you are enough. I wish I could say that to my younger self.”
