When West and East Germany can be unified, then why can’t India, Pakistan and Bangladesh be united again. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said this in a BJP program. Terming the partition of the country as sad, he blamed Congress for it.
Manohar Lal Khattar said, ‘Partition would not have happened had some people of Congress not shown hurry to take power. If he had given up some power, then the partition could have been prevented. We want to have good relations with the neighbouring countries. If East and West Germany can unite then why can’t India, Pakistan and Bangladesh?’
He said that the people of both parts of Germany themselves had broken the wall which was built due to partition. They had removed ideological differences. In the beginning of the ongoing program in Gurugram, he said that Congress did vote bank politics for a long time. He said that the ideology of Congress has been how to govern and how to divide the people for it. The BJP does not have such a target.
The Haryana CM said that the Congress, going even further, started showing fear to the Muslims. He said that this country is our collective identity and we have to maintain it. We have to work for minority communities also. Congress has always worked to intimidate people in the name of Sangh. They were told that the Sangh will eat, the Sangh will kill.
