‘Dhinchak Pooja yun hi badnaam Hai’ Parineeti trolled for her singing in first live concert

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, known for her acting and playback singing, recently stirred controversy with her first live concert. The event, attended by hundreds of fans, showcased a clip of Parineeti singing “Main Pareshaan” from her film “Ishaqzaade,” drawing mixed reactions and ruthless trolling on social media.

The transition from playback singing to live performances proved challenging for Parineeti, sparking a debate on her live vocal abilities. A user humorously remarked, “Suna hai Audience bhi PARESHAN ho gayee thi” (Heard that even the audience was distressed).

Before the concert, Parineeti shared a video of her husband, Raghav Chadha, attempting to calm her nerves. In the video, Raghav asked, “How are you? Are you excited?” Parineeti candidly replied, “No, I’m not excited, dude.” She further revealed her nervousness, stating, “And the stage is set. I’m not set though.”

Despite facing criticism, Parineeti is diversifying her career. Following the commercial disappointment of her last film, “Mission Raniganj,” she is set to release “Chamkila” with Diljit Dosanjh, directed by Imtiaz Ali, on Netflix.

As the Bollywood gossip mill churns, fans await Parineeti’s response to the criticism and the potential impact on her singing career.
