Deputy Commissioner Captain Manoj Kumar informed that Khelo India Youth Games 2021 will be organized in the state from 5th to 14th February 2022 by the Sports and Youth Program Department. In this competition, 25 boys and girls of the age group of 18 years can participate.
The players participating in the team event from the state will be selected on December 19 and 20 at the designated venues. DC said that on December 19, the trials of girls will be taken at different places.
Girls Trial for Kabaddi Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak, Girls Trial for Kho-Kho and Handball Mahabir Stadium in Hisar, Girls Trial for Volleyball and Football Karna Stadium, Karnal Girls Trial for Hockey, located at Shahbad, Kurukshetra Girls trials for Markandeshwar Hockey Stadium and Basketball will be held at the stadium located in Sector 21, Kaithal.
According to DC, boys’ trials for boys’ Kabaddi, Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak, boys’ trials for Kho-Kho and handball, Mahabir Stadium in Hisar, boys’ trials for volleyball and football, Karna Stadium in Karnal, boys for hockey. Trials will be held at Markandeshwar Hockey Stadium in Shahbad, Kurukshetra and Boys’ Trials for Basketball will be held at Sector 21 Stadium, Kaithal.
