Maharaja Surajmal was hailed as the “Plato of the Jat community” due to his political acumen, generosity, and sharp intellect. His realm extended to Agra, Meerut, Bharatpur, and Aligarh, making him one of the most powerful rulers of his time. His efforts thwarted the attempts to turn Hindustan into a religiously divided nation.

Surajmal fiercely resisted Afghan invaders such as Asand Khan, Mir Bakshi, and Salavat Khan, safeguarding Hindustan from religious discord. Additionally, he thwarted the Marathas’ expansion with his military prowess and strategic foresight.
