    Had an amazing experience talking with Pakistani singer Mustafa Ahmed about his latest song Kyun Bhagti Zindagi

    Have you ever felt tired of everything but you know that you can’t stop, you have to make the best out of small things and keep going? Mustafa Ahmed’s song is about that, a story told in a way that keeps you going, gives you hope and leaves you with a smile in the end. In some cases goosebumps as well.

    A renowned Pakistani singer Mustafa Ahmed recently released his latest song ‘Kyun Bhagti Zindagi’, about exhaustion, expression, and hope song,

    Speaking about the song, Mustafa Ahmed said, “Earlier we had planned to do a collaboration with the lyricist. However, we were not able to do it due to some reason. Later, we decided to come up with the song and release it to the audience. Mustafa Ahmed further stated that he himself. It took us at least three days to complete the song as it was done in parts,” he said.

    Who are the band members and what do they play?

    I’m a single person so pretty much when I picked up the guitar I was already together with myself

    What are the band’s main influences?

    Ed Sheeran, Anuv Jain, Junoon, glass animals, Queen, Bayaan, Imagine Dragons

    Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?

    Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?

    On multiple occasions, I have been told about how my songs have made people listen to the lyrics and transported them to specific memories. A Lot of people have told me how my voice has helped them sleep and I don’t know If that is a compliment or not.

    Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?

    This was recorded at elephant studios in Lahore, Pakistan and mastered by Tom waltz. this was co-produced by me(Mustafa Ahmad) and Abu bakar zahid

    Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?

    The song had multiple inspirations including grand orchestral pieces along with chillwave loft but with the melody being a priority always

    Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?

A song about exhaustion, expression, and hope.

    Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?

    It took 6 MONTHS to finish, The song was finished halfway through this period but I being who I am did not like that version and the studio mic had to be replaced and that took 2 months and by the end, I was about to cry because of how big of a delay this song had faced but it all worked out in the end because I was satisfied with my final product

    Fans of Mustafa Ahmed claim that the song has won their hearts. The music and the hard-hitting lyrics have managed to set the song apart. Like Not Fair, Mustafa Ahmed is all set to come up with more projects in the coming future.
